The consultant serves as an advocate for students with an IEP, 504 Plan, ELL Plan, or Educational Plan at school sites during a Parent Conference, Annual meeting, Re-Eval meeting, or Initial meeting. As an ESE Specialist within a public-school cluster overseeing a caseload of 298 students with Special Needs, the consultant possesses expertise with the Individual Education Plans & 504.Years of experience in assisting schools with the management of ELL students is an additional asset. We also offer prior & debrief conference meetings solely with the parent to provide the parent with tools that ensure their child will have access to the right curriculum & strategies, suitable environment/placement, and necessary support to help the student achieve educational goals successfully. Our consultant is a certified educational professional with expertise and State Certifications in the areas of: Exceptional Student Education K-12, Elementary Education 1-6, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages K-12, and Educational Leadership K-12. She also holds the state’s Coaching Credential and has effectively coached K-8 educators on curriculum applications to ensure the quality of education for all students. Our Educational Consultant, during her tenure as a classroom teacher, received recognition from the Secretary of Education as one of the top five teachers in Florida, with students achieving the highest test scores for three consecutive years, ranking in the top three. She approaches teaching with a keen sense of responsibility, understanding the importance of delivering information in a way that facilitates student learning. She has been in the trenches teaching levels 1st, 2nd ,4th ,5th ,6th ,7th ,8th, and 12th at a Private school, Charter School and Public School and understands the dynamics of a classroom in a variety of settings.
